A Rapid Comeback from the Students of Manavpınarı Primary School

Schools in Turkey went on a autumn break between the 13th and 19th of November. After the break, we started where we left off.

First, the International Day of Tolerance was announced to the children in the morning. All the students were invited to participate in an activity where they read about Tolerance and left notes of their opinions about tolerance. The students of Erasmus+ mobility team were assigned to the bulletin board so that other students can talk to them about their experince in Poland and about tolerance towards other cultures.

The first grade students also contributed to the board with colorful paintings of their hand prints. This activity will continue until the end of the weekdays.

(Hoşgörü = Tolerance)

The question on the board reads: "What do you think tolerance is?"
Popular answers were:
"Respect"
"Love"
"Kindness"
"Empathy"
"Fellowship"

Later during the day, 2 teams of students gathered to create logos for our project. They used Canva and collaborated to create a logo.

Team 1 consisted of the students of Unity In Diversity eTwinning project. They are officially no longer in the Primary School but their effort in the project is undeniable.

Team 2 consisted of Unity In Diversity Erasmus+ Romanian mobility team. They are going to be the ones who will wear the t-shirts in Romania. They designed their own logo for the competition.

Kick off meeting - mobility to Poland.

The first meeting of students and teachers from countries participating in the international project "Unity in Diversity" co-financed by the European Union is behind us. On October 8-13, 2023 our school had the honor of hosting 15 students and 6 teachers fro m   Türkiye , Greece and Romania. It was an organizational meeting - The Kick off meeting, which was also intended to familiarize guests with the traditions of Polish cuisine and emphasize the role of health prevention, which is an important topic for everyone, regardless of where they live.   On Sunday, we welcomed guests at the airport in Krakow. The students participating in the project are children aged 10-12, so this time we decided to stay overnight in a hotel where they remained under the
