An experiential seminar for parents in the 6th Primary School of Preveza

An experiential seminar for parents was held at the 6th Primary School of Preveza within the framework of the ERASMUS+ program implemented by our school on the afternoon of Wednesday, November 1st. The keynote speaker was Mrs. Maria Passatzoglou, psychologist.

During the seminar, parents had the opportunity to share their experiences and explore how diversity affects family life, education, and social interaction. One of the significant messages derived from this meeting was the need for open dialogue and education. Parents realized how crucial it is to create an open and supportive environment in which their children can thrive. Another vital message emphasized the value of diversity as an asset, not an obstacle. Diversity can bring new skills, talents, and opportunities to children's lives, but it needs to be recognized and supported by both families and society. Supporting diversity is a critical factor for the happiness and success of children.

In times when diversity often leads to conflict, this seminar reminds us of how essential it is to embrace diversity and create a world that welcomes and supports every individual, regardless of their differences."

FINAL EVALUATION - RESULTS

Final Evaluation - Results In the final evaluation of the project, 70 students , 58 parents , and 27 teachers from each partner country participated. All of them answered several questions assessing the achievement of the project goals. We have analyzed the survey responses and presented the final results: The Erasmus project Unity in Diversity yielded positive results in multiple areas. STUDENTS Students reported improved ICT skills and greater confidence in using English, with many feeling more comfortable communicating in the language. The experience strengthened their ability to collaborate in teams, work effectively with peers from other countries, and form lasting friendships. Additionally, the program fostered a deep interest in different cultures, helping students develop a sense of European awareness and appreciation for cultural diversity, broadening their perspectives and nurturing a spirit of inclusivity and unity. These responses indicate that the project had a st...

OUR CODE OF TOLERANCE BOOK IS READY!

In our project, we discovered together what sets us apart and what we have in common.  We have so much diversity that makes us unique and special, but also so much in common, that we discovered our origins and similarities!  Following the mobilities and team work, we created a book together, The Code of Tolerance ”Unity in Diversity” , in which we included, in 10 chapters, geographical and historical, ethnographic and gastronomic elements, language, culture, art, traditions and objections  from four countries: Poland, Greece, Turkiye and Romania .  We invite everyone to discover the Code of Tolerance.  Material made with web tools.
