Manavpınarı P.S. Students Demonstrating Traditional Clothes on a Special Day

Every year between December 12th and 18th, Turkish students celebrate the domestic goods week. This week has been being celebrated to praise local products in Türkiye since late 1940's.

This year, 3/A students, who are going to take the exam next June in order to be able to participate in Greek mobility, decided to celebrate it in a novel way and did a spectacular demonstration of traditional clothes.

Türkiye is geographically divided into seven areas. The children wore costumes representing these seven geographical areas.

This was also mentioned in the e-book's chapter 5 by 4/A students. This year's mobility students of 4/A class searched for pictures online and uploaded the pictures on storyjumper.com. They created the chapter 5 of the e-book.

Kick off meeting - mobility to Poland.

The first meeting of students and teachers from countries participating in the international project "Unity in Diversity" co-financed by the European Union is behind us. On October 8-13, 2023 our school had the honor of hosting 15 students and 6 teachers fro m   Türkiye , Greece and Romania. We have been preparing for this event for a very long time, in which the entire school community was involved. It was an organizational meeting - The Kick off meeting, which was also intended to familiarize guests with the traditions of Polish cuisine and emphasize the role of health prevention, which is an important topic for everyone, regardless of where they live.   On Sunday, we welcomed guests at the airport in Krakow.
