For this Valentine's Day , Manavpinari Primary School students made their own love cards for their friends. Some of them made cards for their best friends and some of them made cards for their friends who moved and left the school this year.  Students first started with some drafts. Then, they voted for the best one and translated it into English. It has a friendship poem. :) After that, using the library computer, students searched for the best Valentine's Day templates on postermywall.com. They tried to recreate the best card. Here is the final results. Hope you like it, and it inspires good friendship among all of our partner schools. The Romanian mobility team can't wait to meet their new friends.

It's the warmth that fills our hearts when we see a friend, even if they speak a different language or have unique customs. Together, we create a harmonious melody, where the symphony of our friendship echoes through the halls of our school. Love is the key that unlocks the door to a future filled with understanding, compassion, and unity. February is the month of love – a time for Valentine’s Day and remembering love – emphasizing the importance of love in our lives . In our country it is one of the coldest months in the year. To warm up our hearts students prepared Valentine's cards with declaration of love. They used Canva and PosterMyWall to create them.  If you show love to others, it causes that love to grow and return to you. It also causes a ripple effect, just as if you dropped that penny into a wishing well. Let’s celebrate the love in our life, whether it comes from our romantic relationships, our family, our friends, or even just ourselves. We are sending lots of kisses and hugs to our partners from: Romania, Greece and Turkiye :) We dedicate these Valentine's cards to all of you!!!

Starting as an initiative of the EU Safe Borders project in 2024 and taken up by the Insafe network as one of its earliest actions in 2005, Safer Internet Day has grown beyond its traditional geographic zone and is now celebrated in more than 180 countries and territories worldwide. From cyberbullying to social networking to digital identity, each year Safer Internet Day aims to raise awareness of emerging online issues and current concerns. Together with the children, we discussed in our classes about the dangers that appear on the Internet. the risks to which children are subjected and how  we can defend ourselves. We played online games and created cards with characters that personify the dangers and safety on the Internet.
