Unity in Diversity: A Cultural Experience in Preveza - Greece

Greece had the pleasure of hosting the final mobility of the Erasmus+ project "Unity in Diversity." In the beautiful town of Preveza, students and teachers from various European countries had the chance to experience Greek culture and learn about the rich history of the area.

Participants visited archaeological sites, such as Nicopolis and the Necromanteion, gaining a deeper understanding of Greek civilization and its cultural heritage. These visits helped them connect with the local history and appreciate the lasting impact of ancient Greece.

In addition to the excursions, students took part in creative workshops. Through activities like "Body Music" and learning about ancient Greek music, they explored new ways of expression. They also participated in painting sessions and planted an olive tree, symbolizing peace and sustainability.

One of the most memorable moments was the "Jar of Memories" workshop, where students put their feelings and reflections into a symbolic jar to keep the memories of this experience alive. The final celebration, marked by the cutting of a cake prepared by the students, symbolized the end of the program and the strong bonds created.

A big thank you goes to the international partners, whose dedication made this program a success, and to all the participants for their enthusiasm and contributions.

The "Unity in Diversity" project was much more than an educational project. It was a journey of connection, understanding, and cultural appreciation that fostered unity and respect for diversity. The memories and bonds formed during this experience will continue to inspire everyone involved, as they look forward to future opportunities to promote unity through diversity.

  1. It was a wonderful experience for our children as they had the opportunity to make new friends coming from culturally diverse background and to be challenged by the differences as well as the similarities people share.

Kick off meeting - mobility to Poland.

The first meeting of students and teachers from countries participating in the international project "Unity in Diversity" co-financed by the European Union is behind us. On October 8-13, 2023 our school had the honor of hosting 15 students and 6 teachers fro m   Türkiye , Greece and Romania. We have been preparing for this event for a very long time, in which the entire school community was involved. It was an organizational meeting - The Kick off meeting, which was also intended to familiarize guests with the traditions of Polish cuisine and emphasize the role of health prevention, which is an important topic for everyone, regardless of where they live.   On Sunday, we welcomed guests at the airport in Krakow. Apart from us, there was also a wonderful sun waiting for them, which is not always so obvious at this time of year. The students participating in the project are children aged 10-12, so this time we decided to stay overnight in a hotel where they remained under the
