Every year between December 12th and 18th, Turkish students celebrate the domestic goods week. This week has been being celebrated to praise local products in Türkiye since late 1940's. This year, 3/A students, who are going to take the exam next June in order to be able to participate in Greek mobility, decided to celebrate it in a novel way and did a spectacular demonstration of traditional clothes. Türkiye is geographically divided into seven areas. The children wore costumes representing these seven geographical areas. This was also mentioned in the e-book's chapter 5 by 4/A students. This year's mobility students of 4/A class searched for pictures online and uploaded the pictures on storyjumper.com. They created the chapter 5 of the e-book.

 Project participants from all partner schools took part in the  videoconference on 13th December. Students presented Christmas and New Year decorations, They described their traditions, showed the traditional outfit and sang Christmas songs in their language.  It was a really nice time and opportunity to familiarize with different traditions. Of course we found unity in diversity, cause lots of them are common for our countries. Thank You! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year everyone!

 Schools in Turkey went on a autumn break between the 13th and 19th of November. After the break, we started where we left off.  First, the International  Day of Tolerance was announced to the children in the morning. All the students were invited to participate in an activity where they read about Tolerance and left notes of their opinions about tolerance. The students of Erasmus+ mobility team were assigned to the bulletin board so that other students can talk to them about their experince in Poland and about tolerance towards other cultures. The first grade students also contributed to the board with colorful paintings of their hand prints. This activity will continue until the end of the weekdays.  (Hoşgörü = Tolerance) The question on the board reads: "What do you think tolerance is?"   "Tolerance is respect, acceptance and appreciation of the rich diversity of our world's cultures, our forms of expression and ways of being human." In 1996, the UN General Assembly adopted  Resolution 51/95  proclaiming 16 November as  International Day for Tolerance . Our project "Unity in Diversity" is mostly devoted to this topic, so we also celebrated this day in our schools.  Students discussed the topic of tolerance and intolerance. They tried to create a definition of these two terms and compared them with those presented by UNESCO. We created decorations, posters, paintings which were exhibited in the school corridors to make the whole school community familiar with the topic and promote  the equality. Students also took a test to check how tolerant they are.  It was wonderful opportunity to promote our project and its brilliant goals!

 We have conducted initial evaluation on students, parents and teachers taking part in the project. 20 teachers, 60 parentsand  72 students took part in the evaluation.  Surveys were prepared in Google Forms. Evaluation areas: 1. Knowledge and motivation to learn foreign languages; 2. Knowledge about partner countries; 3. Ability to work in a group; 4.
